Tools, bags and everyday equipment need a place to go. But the next load might call for an entirely different layout-or an open bed. GRYD GEAR grew from that tension: organized storage is useful only if the truck can still adapt when the job changes.
For James, this is a product built around real truck ownership. The goal is straightforward: keep gear squared away when you need it, then make room when you need the bed back.
From service to engineering and manufacturing
James’s background spans U.S. Navy service, engineering and manufacturing. GRYD GEAR reflects that practical focus in a system that must make sense both as a design and as a physical product installed in a truck.
The work has moved through physical prototypes, truck-fitment iterations, CAD revisions and manufacturing-readiness planning. Real-world use and the details of how parts fit together remain central to development.
One system. Multiple configurations.
GRYD GEAR combines MOLLE-ready surfaces, removable divider panels and rear-MOLLE stowage. The cycle is simple: organize your gear, remove the divider sections when needed, stow them with the truck, and return to open-bed use.
The complete system brings the setup together at once. The staged path follows A → B → C: SKU A provides the foundation, SKU B adds the rear and wheel-well structure, and SKU C adds the removable divider group. Each stage depends on what comes before it.

GRYD GEAR is a veteran-owned Texas product company. Initial fitment is 2017-2025 Ford F-250 / F-350 trucks with the 6.75-ft short bed. Additional platforms will be announced as fitment is physically verified.

Ford fitment expansion waitlist
We are working toward 2021+ F-150 and 2017+ Super Duty factory pickup coverage across all bed sizes. Expanded fitments are provisional until GRYD validation is complete. Ford F-150 MOLLE system in development
Explore our Ford F-150 truck bed MOLLE panels and removable divider prototype for the 5.5-ft bed. The current CAD preview is based on supplied 2021 bed geometry. Final fitment and production validation are still in progress; no confirmed year range or ordering is available.
