Ford Super Duty MOLLE System Installation
GRYD GEAR is designed around a repeatable installation process using the truck's existing mounting strategy and system-specific brackets and hardware.
If avoiding permanent bed modifications is a priority, see the no-drill truck bed storage guide for how this approach compares with mats, cargo bars, drawers, slides, and removable divider systems.
Installation overview
- Verify truck and bed fitment before beginning.
- Lay out all panels, brackets and hardware by group.
- Install the required foundation components and mounting brackets.
- Install the rear and wheel-well structure.
- Install the removable divider group.
- Check panel alignment and tighten all hardware to the final documented specification.
- Verify divider removal and stowage before driving.
Side-panel factory anchor hardware
For GRYD GEAR installations that reuse the Ford factory bed-side anchor / reinforcement-plate mounting points, the factory reinforcement screws are M6 × 25 mm on the 2017-2025 F-250/F-350 Super Duty applications reviewed. Ford hardware references include W718208-S450B and W719285-S450B depending on production date/application.
GRYD GEAR suggested final torque: 106 lb-in (12 N·m / 8.8 lb-ft). Start all fasteners by hand, seat the side panel evenly, then tighten progressively and evenly with a calibrated inch-pound torque wrench.
Important: This value is for the factory bed-side anchor/reinforcement-plate screws only. It is not the pickup-bed-to-frame bolt specification. If the hardware, thread size, anchor style, or exact-year Ford service information differs from what is shown in the GRYD GEAR instructions, stop and follow the applicable Ford specification. Do not use an impact tool for final tightening.
